Part 1 Details

Our presence has been requested by DFWNC for the committal ceremony and inurnment of 17 veterans who, after serving their country, made the decision to donate their bodies for science and research - again serving their country in its endeavor to further understand the human body and perhaps even find cures for various diseases.

We will stage at the Visitor’s Center where the mission brief will be given, then proceed on to the designated shelter to set up the flags. The riders will gather under the shelter to stand in as family and we will assist in the reading of the names of our Veterans, representing the Air Force, Army and Navy. At the conclusion of the committal service the flags will be retrieved and returned to the shelter storage. The post mission brief will be given and the riders dismissed.

NOTE: Please hydrate the day and night before, as well as during the day of the mission.
