Part 1 Details 

Riders will stage at the funeral home to be briefed and to stand tall and silent as family and friends arrive. After the service begins, and at the direction of the RC, flags will be returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then receive a safety briefing and be staged for the procession to the cemetery.

Part 2 Details 

Those riders not participating in part one, or in the procession, may stage at the cemetery to be briefed. Riders will establish a flag line and await the arrival of the procession. Riders in the procession will quickly dismount and join the flag line. Riders will stand tall and silent until the completion of the service, after which flags will be returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed.

PGR participation will include the folding and presentation of the flag. Depending on the weather, this may take place at the funeral service instead of at the interment. Semper gumby.

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession. 

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic. 

High Temperatures

It's every RIDER'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to hydrate prior to attending a mission. 

Begin drinking water the night before.  Drink water when you wake up and continue drinking water all day to ensure your body stays hydrated.
