Part 1 Details 

The family of Seaman 2nd Class Jamie Goodgion has asked the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders to honor his memory and service to our country by standing a flag line at his funeral service, then again at his interment service.


Riders will stage at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Home and prepare the flag line. When directed by the ride captain, the riders will take up positions on the flag line as the family and friends of Seaman Goodgion arrive. After the service starts, the flags will be returned to the support vehicle, riders will then be debriefed and dismissed from this portion of the mission.

Part 2 Details 

Staging will be at Whitney Memorial Park Cemetery for the interment service. Once at the cemetery the riders will set a flag line and await the friends and family of Seaman Goodgion. After the service, flags will be furled, returned to the storage vehicle, riders briefed and dismissed.

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession. 

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic. 

High Temperatures

It's every RIDER'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to hydrate prior to attending a mission. 

Begin drinking water the night before.  Drink water when you wake up and continue drinking water all day to ensure your body stays hydrated.
