Thanks to all that participated and attended Michael McClaskey’s service at DFW last Thursday.
The motorcycle escort was especially well received by the family members that attended.
I was also pleased with the entire service and the honor shown to my friend.

My brother and I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for so beautifully honoring my father at his memorial service. I know he would have been so proud to see all of you standing with your flags and showing such respect for not only this great country but also for him and all the other men and women who served it. We especially appreciated the personal touches you added like the additional PGR certificate and the time that one (or more) of your members took to find three additional brass for my brother. We will never forget you.
Thank you all again for making our Dad’s memorial so special. It meant so much to us to have you there.

I am so sorry this has taken so long but my family and I wanted to thank you for your participation in my father’s service. We were so honored that your organization participated and all of you did a great job. My dad would have been so honored as well. He had a lot of respect and admiration for your organization.

Dear Mark,
It was such a pleasure to talk with you in advance of the burial. I felt like we were friends by the time I met you in person. I’m happy I got to meet Mike Moore, who took some awesome pictures.
I will be forever indebted to the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders for making my dad’s burial service so memorable. I have the deepest respect for this organization and the dedicated, professional riders. Your team stepped in as pallbearers. They placed the flowers in the Pavilion. They led us in an orderly fashion and surrounded us with their comforting presence. It was very clear their mission was to honor and pay tribute to my father for his military service.
I will share the pictures with my extended family. There are so many. I’m glad Mike took pictures of the Riders.
Thank you again for treating my dad like the WWII hero he was. Everyone at the burial service expressed high praise for the remarkable job the Patriot Guard Riders do to honor our veterans. I have already had an opportunity to share my sentiments with my cousins who are veterans and Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. I will continue to do so.
