He served a total of 6 years, 2 months of foreign service.

Corey Strasshofer of Watauga was born on 12/21/63 and passed away on 2/19/23. His parents, Charles and Charlotte Strasshofer, preceded him in death along with two of his sisters. He graduated from North Ridgeville High School in Cleveland, OH, and joined the army soon after high school. He worked for Ford Motor Company and later Freedom Power Sports in Hurst. He is survived by his 2 daughters and 2 brothers, 1 sister and 5 grandchildren.

Details 

The family of Mr. Strasshofer has invited the PGR to honor his service to our country in the US Army by standing the flag line at his committal service.

We will stage at the visitor center for a briefing. Honor bikes will be identified and positioned for the short procession .It is expected that several of his friends will be on motorcycles and will ride with us to the shelter. All other PGR will proceed to the assigned shelter, set flags and await the arrival of the family and friends of Mr. Strasshofer. We will stand tall and silent during the service. The Certificate of Appreciation will be presented following military honors and presentation of the VA certificate.

At the direction of the MRC, flags will be returned to storage and PGR will be dismissed after the post-mission briefing.
