Details 

Riders will stage in the rear parking lot and prepare the flag line. The Visitation will be in progress as we prepare. Once the service begins, we will store the flags and relocate to DFW National.

Lunch is being served at the Funeral Home immediately following the service. The PGR is invited to lunch. IF mission load and IF there is an escort service and a RC available, there will be a procession to DFW.

Details 

After the Mission Briefing, honor bikes will be identified and moved to the Staging Lane, if needed, to accompany the procession. The remainder of the Riders will proceed to the designated Committal Shelter, establish the Flag Line, and prepare to receive Mr. Rice’s family and friends. When directed by the MRC, the Riders will return the flags to storage, be debriefed, and dismissed.

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession. 

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic. 

                                                                                 High Temperatures

It's every RIDER'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to hydrate prior to attending a mission. 

Begin drinking water the night before.  Drink water when you wake up and continue drinking water all day to ensure your body stays hydrated.
