Riders will stage at the funeral home to be briefed about our hero and this service. After the briefing, riders will stand tall and silent while family and friends arrive. Once the service begins, flags will be furled and returned to the support vehicle.

Details 

Riders will stage at DFW National Cemetery Information Center to be briefed about our hero and this service. At that time, honor bikes will be identified and moved to the Staging Lane. All remaining riders will proceed to the designated committal shelter, establish the Flag Line, and prepare to receive Jerry’s family and friends. After the service, flags will be returned to the storage locker/vehicle and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession. 

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic. 

                                                                                 High Temperatures

It's every RIDER'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to hydrate prior to attending a mission. 

Begin drinking water the night before.  Drink water when you wake up and continue drinking water all day to ensure your body stays hydrated.
