Details 

The funeral service was 6/22/2022 in Kennedale with no confirmation of the burial date/time. The Funeral Director informed PGR that the paperwork is now in order and that cremation would occur on 6/22 and that the inurnment would happen on Friday, 6/24. Certificate of Appreciation was presented at the funeral service.

PGR will stage at the Visitor Center for a briefing. Honor bikes will be selected and positioned for the short procession. All others will proceed to the assigned shelter to set flags and await the arrival of the family and friends of Mr. Rickard. We will stand tall and silent during the service. At the direction of the MRC, the flags will be returned to the storage locker, furled, and stowed. Following the post-mission briefing, PGR will be dismissed.

Funeral Processions/Escorts

EVERY RIDER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety at all times while riding in a funeral procession. 

At NO TIME are any riders authorized to block any intersection or otherwise block or impede traffic laws in any way.  Only Law Enforcement officials are authorized to block and/or impeded the lawful flow of traffic.

If you choose to fly a flag on your bike you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for ensuring it is secured and not a danger to any other rider or traffic. 

                                                                                 High Temperatures

It's every RIDER'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to hydrate prior to attending a mission. 

Begin drinking water the night before.  Drink water when you wake up and continue drinking water all day to ensure your body stays hydrated.
